In addition to a contractor who does the bulk mow, a rota of parishioners look after the church grounds and in particular, keeps the graveyard tidy. The teams work roughly from the end of March to November each year. Each volunteer works about 2-3 hours every two months. There are no set times, and gardeners come when they can within the allocated rota period. More volunteers are always welcome. Ladies as well as gentlemen are welcome, and there are at least four ladies who already help. As they say many hands make light work.
