Local Churches Together is part of the wider national Churches Together and is the link between the ten churches in our local area. Although the Churches may have their roots in different traditions, by joining together for a variety of activities, they are demonstrating their unity of faith in the Gospel of Jesus. They gather together in faith for various activities including Advent and Christian Unity week, simple lunches at various church halls at approx six weekly intervals on either a Tuesday or Wednesday at 12 noon, and an annual quiet day of fellowship and reflection usually in February. They also have a presence at the community day in May and the Victorian Day at Christmas as well as singing carols outside Sainsbury’s and the delivery service of the Christmas cards. All these events are published in the local churches and villages.
